Fixings
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup margarine, mellowed
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 to 2 tablespoons milk
Steps
1 In medium bowl, blend powdered sugar and margarine in with spoon or electric blender on low speed. Mix in vanilla and 1 tablespoon of the milk.
2 Gradually beat in barely enough excess milk to make icing smooth and spreadable. Assuming icing is excessively thick, beat in more milk, a couple of drops all at once.
